Our Story
The founder of MOX Energy, Jason has a passion for sustainable alternative energy solutions. Whilst working on a critical minerals report in early 2020, Jason realised that high temperature process heat was not served by current renewable energy solutions. Though Jason’s work in high temperature mineral treatment he identified that metal fuels were not being discussed in the climate revolution.
A novel, simple technology, a huge market, a strong demand, MOx energy was born.

Sophie is Chairman of MOx Energy. Sophie is responsible for overall corporate governance and strategy. Sophie is a Non-Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer with 25+ years of executive experience in change-focused business leadership and consulting roles.
Jason May
COO/Director
Jason is the founder and Director of MOx Energy. Jason is responsible for overall corporate strategy with a focus on the technical delivery of the MOx system. Jason brings C-level experience from electronics, minerals and ceramics processing industries.
